The GLA University Library System comprises a network of 13 in-campus libraries which have a state-of-the art infrastructure, fully air conditioned, with fully automated environment. I have been leading a team of 35 professional staff members and fully independent and responsible for managing all affairs of library, i.e., Policy implementation, Collection development and maintenance, Engagement with student and faculty, MoUs, Collaboration and networking, Support to innovation and research, Overall administration and operations, supervision of Library Staff and their performance. The library has the online connectivity with Databases IEEE- ASPP, POP All; Emeraald Management Collection; Bentham Science; AIR & SSConline, LexisNexis; CMIE ProwessIQ, Economic Outlook; ScienceDirect-Engineering & Computer Science; SCOPUS Listing & Indexing; TURNITIN, RemoteXs; Refread; EBSCO Agriculture & Management; Shodhganga; NDLI Club – National Digital Library and HBR Online. In-house developed DSpace- Institutional Digital Repository with a 25750 documents.
9. February 2011 to December 2022 as Librarian and Head, Publication Office with the FORE School of Management, New Delhi-110016 . The Library has state-of-the-art infrastructure, fully air-conditioned, and fully automated environment. I have been leading a team of 09 professional staff members and fully independent and responsible for managing all affairs of library, i.e., Policy implementation, overall administration and operations, supervision of Library Staff and their performance. The library has the online connectivity with Databases Thomson Reuters Eikon, Gartner Research, Euromonitor International ’Passport’, Capitaline Plus, Nvivo, Pressdisplay Newspaper, Urkund, The Case Centre, DELNET and subscriptions of e-journals, i.e., ABI-INFO Proquest, EBSCO Business Source Elite, Sage Online, Case Center and HBR Online. In-house developed DSpace- Institutional Digital Repository with a 750 documents.

8. September, 2008, to November, 2010: – Worked as Area Convener and Librarian, Library and Information Centre with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), Lodhi Road, New Delhi. I have led a team of 18 professionals and other staff members. I was fully and independently responsible for managing all affairs of the library, i.e., Library Policy implementation, overall administration and operations, supervision of Library Staff, and their performance. The library has the online connectivity with Databases and subscriptions of e-journals like CMIE-Prowess and Digital Library having a good collection of resources, i.e., databases, Audio and Video, OCR etc., Apart from the regular library functions, library involved in sponsored projects. ENVIS (Centre on Renewal Energy and Environment), Database of R& D Equipment, Energy Efficiency Information for Industries, Mycorrhiza Information Bank, SLCC (Specialized Library on Climate Change), and Fly Ash Information Centre. During my tenure, library published; World Digital Library (an H-y peer-reviewed international journals), TIDEE, Paryavaran Abstract, and provided contents to publications; Newswire, REEEP Newsflash, Akshay Urja, EnCORE, Nano Newsflash, and eNREE, etc. The library has organized many events under my supervision: ICDL-10 (International Conference on Digital Library), Workshop on Future Libraries- Advanced GSDL & RFID-2009. I introduced the Visitors Tracking System (VTS) in the library and Automated Library InfoDesk (ALI) and enriched the KM system, Digital Library, and redesigned Library Website. I integrated all TERI regional libraries; New Delhi, Banglore, Goa, TERI University, etc. with a single-window automated system.
7. January, 2008, to September, 2008: – Worked as Librarian in Professor scale with Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, Jasola, New Delhi. I was leading a team of 08 professional staff members and fully and independently responsible for managing all affairs of the library, i.e., Library Policy implementation, overall administration and operations, supervision of Library Staff, and their performance. The library has online connectivity with databases, i.e., CMIE-Prowess, Indiastat.com, Magindia.com, ABI-INFO Proquest, Sage Online, HBR, and ICFAI. Online Digital Library has a good collection of resources, i.e., databases, Audios and Videos, and subscriptions of e-journals.
6. March 19, 2007, to December 31, 2007: – Worked as Librarian in Associate Professor scale with Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad. I have to lead a team of 18 professional staff members and fully and independently responsible for managing all affairs of library, i.e., Library Policy implementation, overall administration and operations, supervision of Library Staff and their performance, webpage, Internet & CD Accessing, Networking of Library services, procurement of Library Resources, Databases, Subscription of e-journals and e-books and Services to the library users. The library is fully-automated with RAMLIB software. I have designed the library website through which all library services provided, i.e., OPAC, e-journals, databases, institutional membership through intranet or internet. KIET Library is fully-automated with Ramlib (Library Management Software: in house developed) having 35,000 books, 421 online journals/periodicals, 116 print journals/periodicals, a good collection of CD-Databases and audio-visual cassettes catering services to more than 3000 members. I performed the duties as the overall in-charge / HOD of the library. The library has the online connectivity with Developing Library Network (DELNET) Database and Internet Connectivity and having a good collection of resources, i.e., databases, Audio and Video equipment and Materials, Barcode, Optical character reader, Membership of INDEST Consortia and subscriptions of e-journals, i.e., IEE/IEEE, ASME, TLS.
5. May 01, 1998, to March 18, 2007: – Worked as Assistant Librarian in Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Delhi. DCE is one of the Pioneering Engineering Institutions in India. The course offered by the college is B.E., B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech. and Ph.D. in engineering. DCE Library is fully-automated with LIBSYS-4 having 1.5 Lac books, 3500 online journals/periodicals, 178 print journals/periodicals, a good collection of CD-Databases, and audio-visual cassettes catering services to more than 3000 clienteles. I was the supervisor of junior library staff, checking of technical work such as classification, cataloguing, purchasing of library books, periodicals, audio-video materials, information processing, and retrieval, documentation work and reference service, internet working facility, and services to the users. The library has following Online connectivity with (DELNET) Database through Lease line from ERNET and Net 4 India III) CD-ROM Search: -BIS, ASTM, and Ei-INDEX databases IV) Audio and Video equipment and Materials. V) Membership of INDEST Consortia and subscriptions of e-journals, i.e., IEE/IEEE, ASME, ASCE, Science-Direct, Springer Engineering collection, and J-gate. I have introduced and Implemented Dspace, approximately 350 Electronic Thesis & dissertations were accessible through Intranet.
4. May 01, 1996, to April 30, 1998: – Worked in the Apeejay Education Society in Saket Branch as Librarian. Apeejay is a very renowned name in the field of school education, as well as higher professional and technical education. I perform the duties as supervision of junior library staff, technical work such as classification, cataloguing, purchasing of library books, periodicals, audio-video materials, circulation, etc.
3. January 01, 1996, to April 30, 1996: – Worked as Technical Assistant in Delhi Productivity Council (Institute of Management Sciences and Productivity Research). I performed the duties as classification, cataloguing, circulation, documentation work, and reference service.
2. July 01, 1993, to December 31, 1995: – Worked as Assistant Librarian in Haryana Urban Development Authority, Gurgaon. HUDA is an apex civil engineering and land administrative Autonomous body of Haryana Govt. I performed the duties as classification, reference service, circulation, cataloguing, purchasing of books, periodicals, etc.
